As an associate strategy manager, you will be a key member of the Experience Innovation Team, responsible for continuously innovating store experiences for our partners and customers to unleash enterprise value. You will lead strategic projects, influence cross-functional teams, build implementation processes, and present recommendations to senior leadership. You will be a part of a high-performing team, be at the center of emerging store experiences, and bring innovation to life in stores. You will have the opportunity to connect directly with partners and customers. This job will require creativity, data-supported decision-making, effective communication, and continuous pursuit of progress and learning. We seek a self-driven, organized, strategically minded individual to lead some of the enterprise's most exciting store innovation work.

As an associate strategy manager, you will…

  • Drive high visibility innovation projects, which require identifying and sizing problems to solve, developing strategic solutions, and designing tests and roadmaps to scale
  • Present to leaders and build stakeholder engagement with compelling narratives and qualitative and quantitative insights, rooted in business and org realities, and yet, aspirational for the future we want to craft
  • Develop a robust and detailed work plan for key projects. Manage workload and progress to ensure cross-functional teams design workflow and offer a strategic perspective. Lead projects and represent the strategy team.
  • Organize and support the team in problem-solving and defining approaches that lead to solutions. Prepare detailed modeling with minimal guidance and utilize creative information sources to access needed data.
  • Work with and influence cross functional partners across Retail Ops, Store Development, Store Operations, Finance, DAIBO, and more. You will also have an opportunity to work directly with store partners to understand their experience and how they will operate in new store concepts.

  • If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
