Role Summary
Rowan Digital Infrastructure is looking for an Assistant Project Manager (APM) to assist with site origination and development activities across Rowan’s data center project portfolio. The APM is a critical part of the team, working to support the Project Managers (PMs) to plan and execute projects. With guidance and mentorship from the Project Management team, the APM will be expected to develop necessary skills and knowledge to complete the position’s responsibilities independently with oversight by Project Managers or Development Leads.
The ideal candidate will be excited by the opportunity to support fast-paced, multi-faceted development projects, preferably with an interest in land development, environmental, or real estate. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, the ability to multitask, critical thinking skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.
Travel: Ability to travel up to (20%) for company gatherings or to project sites.

Essential Responsibilities:
The APM will work closely with Project Managers and Project Leads to assist with tasks across the entire project portfolio. Initial responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate with Development team PMs to manage assignments, tasks and subtasks, analyze project critical paths and contribute to processes that drive the project forward.
- Assist with drafting project development schedules with reasonable sequencing of milestones and established durations, as well as assist with accommodating updates and changes to project schedules under the guidance of the project managers.
- Think critically to assist in identifying challenges to project milestones and escalate foreseeable project impacts to the Project Managers in a timely manner.
- Prepare project related data rooms and slide decks for meetings involving senior management and other internal and external project stakeholders.
- Compile data and prepare basic outlines for reports, as well as assist with pre-drafting design documents or other templatized studies/reports.
- Maintain the project management information system (AirTable) by inputting and auditing data for the planning and development of a project.
- Collaborate with Project Managers regarding the consultant bidding process and issuing of Task Orders.
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of experience in a project management environment. A degree in a related field (business, construction management, real estate) is a plus but not required.
- Experience supporting multiple project teams.
- Experience working with project management software (Microsoft Project, Airtable, Procore) a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with ArcGIS. Ability to create figures and with conducting geospatial analyses a plus.
- Strong organizational and task management skillset.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-driven, independent mindset comfortable with using Microsoft Teams for collaboration.
