Are you a clinically skilled leader with a passion for supporting youth and families? The Worcester Family Resource Center is seeking an Assistant Program Director to provide clinical and administrative leadership to a dedicated team delivering critical support services to children, adolescents, and their families.
As the Assistant Program Director, you will play a dual role as both a clinical leader and an administrative manager. You will oversee intake, assessment, and treatment services for clients while ensuring program compliance, quality, and staff development. An ability to balance clinical excellence with operational management will be key to success.

As the Assistant Program Director, you will play a dual role as both a clinical leader and an administrative manager. You will oversee intake, assessment, and treatment services for clients while ensuring program compliance, quality, and staff development. An ability to balance clinical excellence with operational management will be key to success.
- Oversee the intake, assessment, and treatment services for clients, ensuring high-quality, trauma-informed care.
- Supervise and support a team of clinicians, direct service staff, interns, and volunteers.
- Provide ongoing clinical supervision and guidance to staff, fostering professional growth and adherence to best practices.
- Manage program compliance with licensing entities and accreditation standards, including the National Council on Accreditation Standards.
- Act as a liaison between the program and external agencies, community partners, and stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records, statistical reports, and documentation required by funding sources.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate program activities, policies, and procedures.
- Monitor and manage program budgets, expenses, and staffing ratios to ensure financial sustainability.
- Support a safe, inclusive, and compliant program environment, maintaining physical site standards.
- Five years of experience in social services or mental health, including at least two years of administrative or supervisory experience.
- Clinical experience working with youth and families facing emotional or behavioral challenges.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop a diverse team.
- Experience with program management, compliance, and quality assurance.
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in service delivery.
- Crisis management and conflict resolution skills.
- Experience in trauma-informed care and evidence-based practices.
- Bilingual skills are a strong asset.
