Job Summary:

The Church of Eleven22 is seeking an Assistant IT Manager to support the daily operations of their Information Technology Ministry. This role involves coordinating IT operations, providing technical support, and assisting with project planning and execution to ensure that all systems and users are equipped to fulfill the church's mission.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the IT Manager with coordinating IT operations across all ministry areas

• Provide technical support to staff and serve staff in a timely and professional manner

• Install, configure and troubleshoot hardware and software, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers and network equipment

• Assist with inventory management, software licensing and vendor coordination

• Participate in IT project planning and implementation as needed

• Maintain clear documentation and reporting on systems, procedures and support tickets

• Help oversee serve staff training and development within the IT Ministry

• Collaborate with ministry teams to understand technology needs and provide support

• Help manage system access and security controls in accordance with internal policies

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Required:

• Associate degree in computer science or a related field

• Two or more years of experience in a help desk, IT support or junior admin role

• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality

• Ability to adapt to change

• Strong proactive communication skills

• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Reliable, teachable and servant-hearted, with a desire to grow professionally and spiritually

Preferred:

• Exposure to infrastructure, networking or systems administration is a plus

• Experience in a ministry or non-profit setting preferred
