Assistant Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Controller with a strong background in both general accounting and payroll functions. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including financial reporting, general ledger management, and certified payroll processes. This position also requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory or management role within an accounting department.

• General ledger posting
• Month-end closing
• Financial statement issuance and analysis

Position Requirements

• 5+ years accounting/payroll in construction industry
• 5+ years managing accounting related positions
• Experience with prevailing wage projects
• Bachelors in Accounting, required
• Expert proficiency in Excel
  
  

Schedule

• 8:00 A.M - 5:00 P.M, Monday - Friday
  
  

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Ability to make repetitive movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers, daily
• Ability to walk, bend, stoop, hear, and speak, daily
• Move/Transport items weighing 20 pounds, occasionally
• Stand or Sit for long periods (4+ hours), daily
