Key Responsibilities
- Manage FF&E programming, procurement coordination, installation, and close-out for swing space, new builds, and renovation projects.
- Oversee full move lifecycle: scope creation, bid analysis, contractor coordination, on-site execution, and post-move punch list activities.
- Collaborate with CPDs, Project Architects (A/E), technology managers, and college user groups to ensure seamless integration of FF&E and technology infrastructure.
- Coordinate budgets, bid packages, scheduling, procurement, vendor management, and move logistics.
- Identify reuse vs. new procurement needs, prepare accurate FF&E budgets, and track changes across key milestones.
- Ensure all FF&E meets project specifications and aligns with utility, electrical, and anchoring requirements.
- Support swing space readiness and temporary relocations with tailored FF&E and construction planning.
- Maintain records and submit proposals, POs, shipping documentation, and invoices for project files.
- Oversee asset tagging, key distribution, space handover, and coordination with facilities and security.
- Ensure compliance with public procurement standards, safety protocols, and schedule milestones.
- Minimum Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management, Facilities Planning, or a related field.
- 12-20 years' experience in FF&E coordination, move management, project management, or facilities planning.
- Advanced knowledge of FF&E procurement, reading architectural drawings, and infrastructure coordination.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat or Bluebeam.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Flexibility to travel to and work at various district colleges and project locations.
- Preferred:
- Public works or educational construction experience.
- Knowledge of procurement regulations and asset management protocols.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Visio, or design software.
- Certifications: CID, CCIDQ, LEED, IIDA, AIA, or IFMA membership.
- 3-4 weeks of PTO + paid client holidays
