The ideal candidate will be interested in community-based medicine incorporating a broad range of pediatric hospital care, including the care of general pediatric inpatients, well newborns, and Level II NICU patients. Candidates should have experience with neonatal resuscitation; recent residency graduates with strong delivery room experience in residency will be considered. This position is 100% onsite at Adventist Health Lodi Memorial Hospital in Lodi, CA.

The collaboration between Adventist Health Lodi Memorial Hospital and UC Davis Health pediatric hospitalists facilitates comprehensive consultation and care for pediatric patients in the emergency department and those requiring inpatient services. Adventist Health Lodi Memorial is located 45 minutes from downtown Sacramento. Lodi offers a unique blend of family-friendly, smaller city life in a budding wine region. Our highly desirable Northern California practice setting boasts beautiful weather, a relatively low cost of living, outstanding public and private schools, a diverse community, and convenient location near the San Francisco Bay Area, Lake Tahoe, the Sierra Nevada Mountains, the California coast, and Napa Valley.

- Maintain a Federal Drug Enforcement Administration (hereinafter “DEA”) registration certificate without restriction
- Candidate must have an MD, DO, or foreign equivalent degree and be eligible for state medical licensure. Successful completion of an approved pediatric residency training program.

- Experience performing functions of a pediatric hospitalist is preferred.
