Crocs is hiring an Art Director, Brand for our Global Creative Studio. The Art Director will turn marketing and company initiatives into cohesive visual brand campaigns. This includes overseeing the creative conception and design of branding assets like logos and branding design systems for campaign stories, brand moments, internal programs and events, new product launches, as well as helping lead in the management and evolution of the core Crocs brand. This will also include creating instructional toolkits for each brand or product campaign and providing the rest of the global creative team with assets and direction.

The Art Director will guide and inspire the team to produce best-of-breed marketing materials across all global marketing channels to include global print for Crocs and Wholesale retail stores, Crocs.com and Wholesale global digital properties, paid and organic social media channels, digital advertising as well as collateral materials for internal business clients. This manager-level position will have two direct reports focused on execution of all brand-work projects, which includes cross collaboration within the Creative studio teams (Production and Copy).

What You'll Do

  • Guiding and directing external agencies and production teams, including providing art direction both in the studio and on location.
  • Managing the daily production of creative projects and developing swift design and copy concepts to elevate the Crocs brand globally.
  • Conceptualizing on-brand and strategic ideas with the ability to promptly execute and present them effectively.
  • Developing robust creative strategies that accurately reflect brand positioning.
  • Translating campaigns briefs into innovative and relevant creative approaches for global audiences.
  • Establishing, enhancing, and maintaining global brand standards.
  • Presenting creative ideas to advance the brand to functional and internal Crocs marketing teams.
  • Maintaining advanced knowledge of creative software and marketing trends.
  • Clearly presenting and communicating ideas and concepts to teams to drive progress on assigned campaigns.
  • Collaborating with the entire creative team to ensure designs are appropriate for various channels.
  • Handling multiple concurrent design projects while maintaining high standards of quality and creativity.

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Advertising and/or Graphic Design, preferably related to footwear/apparel or similar products.
  • At least five years of relevant experience with an in-house creative team or agency, focusing on brand storytelling.
  • At least two years of experience leading projects, teams, and initiatives.
  • Capability to navigate a global, matrixed organization.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Expert-level graphic design skills, including proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Strong attention to detail in marketing work, such as campaigns, content, and other creative materials.
  • Ability to commit to a creative vision and passionately execute marketing materials.
  • Capacity to lead and direct the work of others.
  • Proficiency in presenting and communicating ideas effectively to internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  • Knowledge and understanding of advertising principles and evolving best practices for eCommerce, print, and retail copy.
  • Understanding of consumer profiles, research, and data that inform marketing strategies.

Title: Art Director, Brand

Salary or Pay Range: $110,000 - $120,000

Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.

At Crocs, Inc. we believe in the power of a blend of in-person and virtual collaboration to drive creativity and strengthen relationships. Your participation in this flexible schedule plays a key role in building a connected and successful team. In-office requirements vary by our work personas: Resident (5 days), Collaborator (4 days), Connector (2-3 days), Explorer (fully remote). This role has been aligned to the Collaborator persona.

This position is eligible to participate in a company incentive program.
