Responsibilities
- Collaborate on the design and documentation of a variety of project types including aviation, education, civic, tribal, commercial, and federal facilities.
- Produce drawings, specifications, diagrams, 3D models, and reports that align with project goals.
- Apply building codes, ADA, and zoning regulations to develop functional, compliant design solutions.
- Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and team coordination efforts.
- Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and internal team members to deliver integrated project outcomes.
- Support QA/QC efforts and construction administration activities, including submittal reviews and site observations.
- Lead portions of project documentation and guide junior staff in design development.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across disciplines and with clients.
- Critical thinking and creativity in solving complex design challenges.
- Time management and adaptability in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.
- Mentorship mindset, with a willingness to guide and support junior team members.
- Clear, professional writing and verbal communication skills.
- Initiative in identifying solutions and improving workflow efficiencies.
- Degree in Architecture or related design field from a NAAB-accredited program.
- For licensed Architects: A valid architectural license in applicable state(s).
- For unlicensed professionals: Active pursuit of licensure and strong portfolio required.
- 5+ years of experience on diverse architectural projects.
- Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and related design software.
- Strong understanding of building codes, documentation standards, and interdisciplinary coordination.
- Experience in sectors such as aviation, civic, commercial, tribal, mission critical, or federal work is a plus.
