Position Summary

Actively participates in patient care routines, performs specified technical tasks, is responsible for the care of anesthesia equipment and other related products, responsible for maintaining adequate stock of anesthesia supplies, assists the Anesthesia Care Provider with procedures, assists in patient positioning, assists Perioperative Services personnel as able, assists in documentation according to guidelines, respects patient’s rights/legal issues, complies with safety measures and assists in responding to emergency situations.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Must obtain CPR within 90 days of hire.
  
  

Required Skills

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
