The Division of Environmental Assistance and Customer Service (DEACS) leads NCDEQ's responsiveness to our customers. Through its non-regulatory technical services, DEACS helps its customers navigate regulatory and permitting challenges, improve environmental performance through sustainable practices and recognition programs, promote recycling material management programs and expand recycling infrastructure creating economic growth. Description of Work

Key Responsibilities
- Provide a positive customer service experience for both internal and external customers.
- Present ideas clearly and effectively in written form.
- Possess knowledge of program policies and procedural aspects of the program to provide detailed administrative support to staff.
- Processing of outgoing and incoming correspondence via normal and expedited processing is required.
- Specific knowledge and application of accounting rules and guidelines to appropriately process incoming cash and checks.
- Providing team back-up in providing administrative coverage to other divisions and programs in the Regional Office.
