Description
McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for Administrative Assistant for its Ames office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.
Responsibilities include: Greets individuals who come into Administration Department and answers the telephone to assist callers into Administration. Relays accurate information to patients, physicians and staff regarding Clinic policies and procedures where appropriate. Completes correspondence and performs other administrative duties as requested by Executive staff. Coordinates and accurately schedules Physician, Department, and Executive Staff meetings. Types contracts and agreements at the direction of the Executive Staff. Assists Executive Staff with special projects, strategic plan, and budget preparation. Maintains strictest confidentiality. Gathers financial/operational information and prepares packets for Medical Directors' departmental meetings. Maintains administrative files for leases, third party agreements, directorship agreements, provider contract copies, Board of Directors materials, and committee minutes. Maintains electronic files for providers data.
Education
Hours: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM.

Education
- High School Diploma, GED or HiSET.
- Associate degree in business administration or legal secretarial practices preferred.
Hours: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM.
Experience
- One-year administrative office training and experience in an administrative office environment.
- Two years' experience in a health care environment preferred.
- Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive)
