As a Medical Assisting Instructor, you will be instrumental in providing high-caliber education to students. Your expertise will be crucial in nurturing both academic success and career readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and structure course materials and lesson plans to provide a comprehensive learning experience.
- Deliver engaging, informative, and practical courses designed to inspire and challenge students.
- Monitor student engagement, track attendance, and maintain transparent communication regarding academic performance.
- Offer academic advising to assist students in navigating their educational and professional paths.
- Accurately record and submit grades and progress reports in a timely manner.
- Expertise in medical assisting practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to deliver captivating and informative lessons.
- Organizational skills for preparing course materials effectively.
- Competence in tracking student progress and providing academic support.
- An Associate's degree in a relevant field is required.
- A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in the medical assisting domain.
- Possession of RMA (Registered Medical Assistant) and/or CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) certification, or eligibility to sit for the RMA exam.
- Previous teaching experience is preferred but not mandatory.
