Position Summary
Accounts Payable Clerk I works with Accounting, Purchasing and Budgeting personnel. Processes accounting transactions, including account analysis and reconciliations. Creates and runs various accounting/budgeting reports in support of financial operations. Supports A/R, Purchasing, Accountant and Payroll functions. Evaluates pricing and processes supply orders, verifies receipts, processes service vendor invoices, works closely with Vice President of Finance and Director of Accounting on financial projects.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration, or equivalent work experience.
Experience
Six months to one year accounting experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

- Strong computer skills (especially Microsoft Excel) and working knowledge of various accounting software and MS Office.
- Ability to work independently or in a group setting.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- High level of ethics in maintaining both corporate information and patient information confidentiality.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Forward thinking with a positive attitude and the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and handle detailed, precise record keeping.
- Strong organizational skills and communication skills.
- Good listening skills, alert, analytic ability, problem solving ability, sound judgment, initiative, creativity, and patience.
