Accounts Payable Clerk

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing invoices, processing payments, and ensuring accurate financial records for our organization.

Responsibilities

• Ensure correct approval, sorting, coding, and matching of invoices, PO's and receipts.
• Review and code employee expense reimbursements and post to AP module.
• Reconcile Amex credit card statement to employee credit card expenses via Expensify.
• Ensure all invoices are properly coded, approved for payment, and processed accurately.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices.
• Onboard new vendors including bank verifications.
• Maintain updated vendor files.
• File and keep record of all vendors W-9 forms.
• Assist with year-end AP tax reporting.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies before processing payments.
• Prepare weekly payment cycle activities.
• Assist with month-end closing procedures and deadlines.
• Submit month end accruals.
• Provide exceptional customer service to vendors.
• Provide support during audits.
  
  

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in accounting or related field required
• A minimum of 2 years of accounts payable, finance, and/or operations experience
• Experience with Expensify or other expense management platforms
• Experience with an ERP preferred
• Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Exceptional organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to adapt quickly to new situations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization
  
  

Salary Range: up to $32 per hour in USD

This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. The actual base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: experience, knowledge and skills, and if the location of the job changes.
