As an Accounts Payable Associate, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records by processing invoices, reconciling supplier accounts, and ensuring timely payments to suppliers. You'll have the opportunity to work on special projects and collaborate with various teams across the Company to support our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to processing
  • Ensure accuracy of supplier invoices, including researching and resolving discrepancies
  • Perform reconciliation between supplier accounts and statements
  • Resolve supplier payment discrepancies and maintain clear audit trails of accounting records.
  • Communicate promptly with internal and external parties regarding payment status, invoice requests and inquiries, as necessary
  • Prioritize tasks and provide flexibility to work on special projects, meeting deadlines efficiently.
  • Provide high level customer service to both internal and external customers

Qualifications And Skills Required

  • Previous experience working in Accounts Payable, or in a high volume, customer service environment, is required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or another business-related field, preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Familiarity working in a cloud based ERP system (such as SAP) is a plus.
  • Strong work ethic with exceptional organizational and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and a professional, reliable attitude.
  • Ability to consistently meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Working Hours and Location:

This position is an in-person role at our Corporate office on Skidaway Island. Work hours are Monday through Friday, either 7 am to 4 pm or 8 am to 5 pm.
