About the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable Specialist to manage the day-to-day processing of vendor invoices. This role plays a vital part in maintaining our financial records, ensuring accuracy, and fostering strong vendor relationships.

Essential Functions:

• Process invoices and maintain accounts payable paperless filing system
• Perform data entry associated with accounts payable
• Review and verify expense reports and payment requests
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain accurate records and documentation following company policy and accepted accounting practices
• Assist with month-end closing
  
  

Qualifications:

• Experience in accounts payable or general accounting
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
• Proficient in Microsoft Office knowledge and skills
  
  

Required Education and Experience:

• High school diploma
• Accounting or 2-3 years of billing and/or accounting work experience
