Accounting Supervisor

Position Summary

An experienced Accounting Supervisor with Japanese-English bilingual skills is being sought to support financial operations at a global organization. This role involves assisting in the oversight of accounting activities to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. The position also includes responsibility for maintaining internal controls and contributing to risk mitigation efforts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage the organization's cash flow, forecasting cash needs, and optimizing cash balances.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure timely and accurate processing.
• Establish and maintain internal control policies and procedures to safeguard company assets.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and tax laws.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Over 6 years of experience in progressively responsible accounting roles, with some supervisory or leadership experience.
• In-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and relevant financial regulations.
• Business-level speaking and writing skills in Japanese.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  
  
  

BASE SALARY USD80,000-100,000 (DOE)

LOCATION Santa Ana, CA

WORK STYLE Hybrid (3 times/week in the office)
