Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting & Finance Associate to join our growing team. This hybrid role combines Accounts Payable (AP) responsibilities, entry-level cost accounting, and financial analysis, making it ideal for someone looking to launch or advance their career in finance. A strong analytical mindset and proficiency in Microsoft Excel are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable (AP)

• Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments
• Match purchase orders with invoices and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain accurate AP records and vendor files
• Assist with month-end close and reconciliation of AP accounts
  
  

Cost Accounting

• Support the tracking and allocation of job costs
• Assist in preparing job profitability reports
• Reconcile variances and prepare analytic trends
  
  

Financial Analysis

• Perform data analysis to support financial planning and forecasting
• Develop and maintain Excel-based financial models and dashboards
• Assist with budget preparation, variance analysis, and performance tracking
• Prepare ad hoc financial reports and summaries for leadership
  
  

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 1–5 years of accounting/finance experience preferred
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, charts)
• Basic understanding of GAAP and cost accounting principles
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (or in progress)
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar) is a plus
