About the Role:

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at PK Industrial Supply. This role will support two companies and will be based in Baytown and will travel 1-2 days to The Woodlands, Texas office. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing company in the industrial supply industry.

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Reconcile invoices an identify discrepancies
• Assist with month-end and year end closing
• Assisting with payroll and expense reports
• Communicate with vendors to resolve invoice issues
• Monitor Open PO Report on a regular basis
• Weekly credit card expense verification and entry
• Time data entry for payroll
• Maintain and update spreadsheets
• Assist in special projects as needed
  
  
  

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable and receivable
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Associate's degree in accounting or finance preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
