About the Role: Account Executive at GoPro Interiors…
Our Account Executives play a critical role in helping customers choose the best flooring/countertops solutions for their needs. You’ll work with bulk buyers, large corporations, and a diverse range of professionals, including Facilities Managers, Architects, Designers, General Contractors, and Property Managers. Your day-to-day will involve generating sales leads, developing new business opportunities, and offering turn-key flooring/countertop services. You'll guide clients through the selection process, present flooring options, estimate costs, provide innovative cost-saving ideas, and manage projects from start to finish.

Our Account Executives play a critical role in helping customers choose the best flooring/countertops solutions for their needs. Your day-to-day will involve generating sales leads, developing new business opportunities, and offering turn-key flooring/countertop services. You'll guide clients through the selection process, present flooring options, estimate costs, provide innovative cost-saving ideas, and manage projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Lead Generation: Compile and maintain a robust list of prospective customers to drive sales and business growth.
- Collaboration & Product Selection: Work closely with suppliers, architects, designers, building owners, and contractors to select flooring/countertops products that align with budget and project requirements.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with general contractors, architects, end users, and key decision-makers. Provide tailored presentations on flooring options, installation methods, and maintenance practices.
- Quoting & Contract Management: Submit accurate pricing quotes, ensure contract terms are aligned with company standards, and coordinate project details with the Sales Manager and President.
- Project Coordination: Oversee all aspects of project coordination, including RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, material ordering, and scheduling to ensure smooth execution.
- Quality Control & Site Management: Conduct job site visits to ensure quality installation, manage any project changes, and develop cost proposals for project modifications.
- Post-Project Follow-Through: Work with the project team to handle change orders, billing, and close-out documentation, ensuring the project is completed on time and to the client’s satisfaction.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Sales Experience: Proven experience in a sales-related role, such as Account Executive, Account Manager, Territory Manager, Business Development, or Sales Representative in industries like building, construction, commercial floor installation, or a related field.
- Travel Requirements: Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 35% of the time for client meetings and industry trade shows.
- Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical specifications, and project documents.
- Sales Track Record: Demonstrated success in B2B sales, ideally in flooring, construction, or related industries.
- Mathematical Proficiency: Strong math skills to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, and project volume.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in commercial flooring sales, project management, or business development.
- CRM Proficiency: Experience with CRM software and sales management tools to track leads, manage accounts, and monitor sales progress.
- Industry Network: A strong network of contacts in the construction, design, and property management sectors is highly desirable.
