Logic Staffing is seeking a Guard Shack/Gate Checker to join our team!
Job Description
- Check in truck drivers at gate
- Work with high volume traffic, logging information in the system and assigning gates for deliveries
- Verify the contents of inventory against documentation
- Enter data using the QWERTY keyboard
- Operate technology systems
- Comply with Standard Operating Procedures
- Stock and locate inventory according to local standards
- Greet customers and guests in a professional and friendly manner
- Communicate via radio
- Experience working on a PC and entering data into MS Excel
- Previous management experience
- Previous experience checking in truck drivers
- Experience with BOL's
- Provides excellent customer service
- Great communication skills
- Multitasking skills
- Ability to multitask and is detail-oriented
- Must be 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand for 8-10 hours a day.
- Temp to hire position
