Summer Clinical Research Intern Department: Arthritis & Clinical Immuno Location: Oklahoma City, OK Position Overview and Responsibilities The James Lab is looking for a Summer Clinical Intern. This internship in the Arthritis & Clinical Immunology Research Program (ACI) will provide a motivated individual the opportunity to assist with clinical research studies directed towards understanding the mechanisms of autoimmunity. Responsibilities may include: Recruiting and screening study participants Conducting clinical research visits Collecting and entering study data Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Interest in clinical research Strong computer skills are required Excellent organization, oral and written communication skills are required. Must be professional, team oriented, and personable. Must be able to take direction, follow instructions and take meticulous records. ???? Preferred Qualifications Strong interest in the pursuit of graduate level education in the biological sciences or medicine is preferred. Junior year of high school completed. Seeking a degree in biological sciences or related field and have completed at least 36 hours of science course work. Work Hours Flexible full or part-time hours, typically Monday through Friday, between 8:30AM to 5PM. Summer positions typically are from the beginning of June to the end of July.
