The Utility Steward is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment by cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment, cookware, dishware, utensils, and work areas. This position supports Food & Beverage operations by ensuring clean supplies are consistently available while following company policies, safety standards, sanitation procedures, and gaming regulations. The Utility Steward contributes to an exceptional guest and team member experience through attention to detail, teamwork, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Team members must be available to work varying schedules, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours, based on business needs.
Travel is not required for this position.

Key Responsibilities
- Practice, support, and uphold the Mission, Vision, and Values of WarHorse Gaming.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, chinaware, flatware, glassware, pots, pans, utensils, and food preparation areas.
- Remove used dishes, flatware, and related items from all food and beverage outlets.
- Replenish kitchens and service areas with clean dishware and supplies.
- Break down kitchen equipment for cleaning using approved chemicals and established procedures.
- Collect, transport, clean, and return floor mats to designated kitchen locations.
- Assist Service Attendants and other Food & Beverage team members as operational needs require.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies, departmental procedures, internal controls, and applicable government regulations.
- Perform all duties safely while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Deliver outstanding customer service to guests and fellow team members.
- Maintain a professional, neat, and clean appearance.
- Attend required meetings and training sessions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must be at least 19 years of age.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to understand Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and safely handle cleaning chemicals.
- Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.

- Exposure to kitchen equipment, cleaning chemicals, noise, heat, and confined workspaces.
- Manual dexterity required for cleaning equipment and handling kitchen supplies.
- Ability to maintain stamina during prolonged periods of physical activity.
- Frequent verbal communication with team members.
- Ability to safely perform duties while following sanitation and safety standards.
