Solar Field Sales Manager

As we expand into new home improvement products, we are looking for an energetic and results-driven Solar Field Sales Manager to help grow our team and take our success to the next level.

If you are an experienced solar sales professional with a passion for being in the field every day, this is your opportunity to ride alongside our current sales reps, train and mentor, and close your own leads. This isn’t just a job, it’s a path to leadership with a high income potential (uncapped), working with a consistent stream of strong solar leads and an established sales team.

Offering a strong base salary of $65K–$80K, then elevate your earnings with uncapped commissions and team overrides, realistic take-home of $200K–$300K+ with no cap on your potential!

Responsibilities:

• Daily ride-alongs with sales reps to train, develop, and sharpen their skills
• Mentor and coach the existing team to improve performance and close rates
• Close your own leads to drive personal and team success
• Collaborate with the Solar Sales Manager to expand the sales team
• Implement best practices to optimize lead-to-close efficiency
• Monitor team performance and provide constructive feedback to push growth
• Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction through every step of the process
• Stay updated on industry trends and introduce innovations to keep the team competitive
  
  

Qualifications:

• Minimum of five (5) years of in-person solar sales experience
• At least one (1) year of solar sales management experience
• Must have a valid Driver's License
• Must be comfortable climbing ladders and going on roofs
• Proven track record of exceeding sales goals and driving team performance
• Strong leadership and motivational skills
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of the solar industry, including products, services, and market trends
• Experience with roofing and other home improvement products is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
