Server- In-Room Dining

Summary

Park Hyatt Washington, D.C. is looking for an energetic and experienced In-Room Dining Server to join our Food and Beverage team. This is a Full-Time position with great benefits. Take advantage of this rare opportunity to join our Forbes Four-Star, luxury property.

• Efficiently and accurately handle all aspects of the in-room dining experience
• Receive, process, and manage orders from various platforms, including phone calls and online orders
• Prepare and place in-room amenities for guests
• Accurately input orders in the point-of-sale (POS) system and verify order details to ensure correct items, quantities, and special requests. Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely order preparation and packaging
• Assemble orders and amenities with an attention to detail ensuring timely and presentable delivery free of spills, leaks, or damage
• Provide excellent customer service by answering inquiries, offering menu recommendations, and addressing any concerns or issues that arise
• Bus IRD trays from guest rooms
  

• Full time schedule availability for AM and PM shifts, including weekends and holidays, required
• Prior in-room dining server experience
• Experience with POS systems
• Ability to lift moderate to heavy items
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Refined verbal communication skills
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
  

Starting Salary
Starting hourly rate of $11.00, depending on experience, plus tips
