THE ROLE

The Recruiter is a key member of the talent acquisition team, responsible for managing the day-to-day execution of the hiring process. This role focuses heavily on candidate screening, interviewing, coordination, and ensuring a seamless and thoughtful experience for both candidates and hiring managers.

With a strong attention to detail and a passion for people, the Recruiter helps bring our culture to life by identifying top talent and guiding them through every step of the hiring journey.

What we will ask of you:

  • Review incoming applications and resumes to identify qualified candidates
  • Conduct initial phone screens and interviews to assess experience, culture fit, and role alignment
  • Evaluate candidates against role requirements and company standards
  • Provide clear, thoughtful interview recaps and hiring recommendations
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers
  • Ensure all interview steps are organized, timely, and communicated clearly
  • Guide candidates through the interview process, setting expectations and next steps
  • Maintain consistent follow-up with candidates to ensure a positive experience
  • Deliver a high-touch, hospitality-driven candidate experience at every stage
  • Act as a primary point of contact for candidates throughout the hiring process
  • Ensure timely communication, feedback, and updates
  • Maintain accurate candidate records in the applicant tracking system (e.g., Hireology)
  • Upload resumes, interview notes, and required documentation in a timely manner
  • Ensure job postings are active, accurate, and aligned with hiring needs
  • Partner closely with hiring managers and recruiting leadership to support hiring needs
  • Assist in managing high-volume roles and urgent hiring requests
  • Support agency coordination by reviewing and processing candidate submissions
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of recruiting processes and workflows


Requirements for Success:

  • 1-3+ years of recruiting, coordination, or hospitality experience preferred
  • Must be located at Charleston Office
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple candidates and roles simultaneously
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems and scheduling tools is a plus
