Plumbing Dispatcher

We are seeking a Plumbing Dispatcher to manage daily dispatch operations, coordinate technicians and installers, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. This role serves as a central point of communication between customers, field teams, and management.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
Seasonal volume may require overtime with adjusted start and end times.

This is a full-time, in-office position reporting to the Office Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for scheduling and service inquiries
• Address customer concerns promptly and professionally
• Schedule service calls based on customer requests, technician availability, and priority
• Assign calls to the appropriate technician or installer based on skill set and location
• Ensure efficient routing to maximize productivity and minimize drive time
• Dispatch emergency calls to on-call technicians
• Schedule and communicate all installs with clear customer expectations
• Make outbound calls to maintain a full schedule and maximize technician utilization
• Ensure all required paperwork, materials, and parts are prepared for each call
• Coordinate technician inventory restocking with service support
• Monitor technician progress throughout the day and adjust schedules as needed
• Follow up to ensure complete satisfaction with services provided

Work Environment:

This position primarily operates in an office environment and requires the ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time. Frequently operates a computer and other standard office equipment. Occasionally moves items up to 20 pounds. Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information with internal and external stakeholders is required. Must be able to work under centrally controlled fluorescent lighting.
