Position Summary:

The Candy Packer supports candy production by assisting with packing line operations. The packer is responsible for packing candy products into various packaging configurations and ensuring our product is accurately counted and adheres to customer specifications and company quality standards.

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Schedule: Monday – Friday, Saturdays as needed

Shift: 1st (7:15 am - 3:30 pm)

How You’ll Impact Results:

• Adhere to all safety guidelines, GMPs, and OSHA requirements while performing job duties to ensure a safe work environment.

• Support candy production by working on bar line, mini line or off-line assignments as needed

• Complete required cleaning and sanitizing activities at the end of production runs

• Process rework candy by feeding product onto appropriate conveyor belts

• Load candy from bins onto belts to ensure continuous production flow

• Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout production

• Follow established sanitation procedures for belts, bins, and production areas

Your Qualifications That Will Ensure Success:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required

• Keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality

• Ability to safely operate manual pallet jack

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle repetitive tasks

• Committed to following and upholding Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), including wearing required hearing protection and personal protective equipment (PPE) and working in compliance with OSHA safety standards

• Demonstrate a positive attitude and be a collaborative team player

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift/move product up to 25lbs.

• Must be at least 18 years of age
