We are seeking a detail-oriented Medicaid Coordinator to manage applications and support residents and families through the Medicaid process.
Responsibilities
- Handle Medicaid applications, renewals, and recertifications
- Assist residents/families with documentation and eligibility
- Track pending cases and follow up for approvals
- Maintain accurate records
- Work with Admissions, Billing, and Social Work teams
- Resolve application issues, delays, or denials
- Ensure compliance with Medicaid regulations
- Experience with Medicaid in a nursing home setting preferred
- Strong understanding of Medicaid eligibility
- Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Strong communication and follow-up skills
