Lost Search Media is seeking an organized, proactive, and client-focused Marketing Manager to help turn marketing strategies into measurable results.
The Marketing Manager serves as the primary link between our clients, marketing strategists, and fulfillment teams. This person is responsible for keeping client initiatives moving forward, maintaining clear communication, coordinating projects, and ensuring the work outlined in each client’s marketing agreement and 90-day plan is completed efficiently and successfully.
The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator and project manager who can balance client relationships, strategic priorities, deadlines, budgets, and the day-to-day details required to execute an effective marketing plan.

Client Relationship Management
- Maintain regular communication with assigned clients to understand their current needs, address questions, and proactively move their marketing strategies forward.
- Communicate important client feedback, requests, decisions, and updates to the appropriate Lost Search Media team members.
- Build trusted client relationships by providing clear communication, dependable follow-through, and proactive support.
- Help identify client needs, potential concerns, and opportunities before they become urgent.
- Support client retention by ensuring clients understand the work being completed and the value of their marketing partnership.
- Work closely with the marketing strategist, fulfillment team, and client to execute the initiatives outlined in each client’s marketing agreement and 90-day plan.
- Attend quarterly internal strategy meetings to review client goals, priorities, deliverables, and upcoming initiatives.
- Meet weekly with the strategist to review client accounts, discuss current needs, and establish goals and priorities for the upcoming week.
- Ensure strategic decisions are translated into clear, actionable projects for the fulfillment team.
- Fill gaps in fulfillment when needed to support the team and keep projects moving forward.
- Manage ongoing client projects from assignment through completion, ensuring deadlines, expectations, and quality standards are met.
- Assign design, content, social media, website, video, and other marketing projects to the appropriate fulfillment team members.
- Clearly communicate the purpose, vision, audience, and strategic goals of each project.
- Establish realistic due dates that align with client proposals, marketing plans, team capacity, and budgeted fulfillment time.
- Monitor project progress, follow up on outstanding action items, and resolve potential delays or communication gaps.
- Confirm completed work meets client expectations and supports the intended marketing strategy.
- Coordinate, schedule, and attend quarterly marketing meetings with the client and strategist.
- Confirm action items, responsibilities, and deadlines for everyone involved.
- Follow up with clients and internal team members to ensure meeting commitments are completed.
- Keep meeting notes, AI-generated transcripts, decisions, and relevant documentation organized in Google Drive.
- Maintain and organize each client’s NotebookLM resources.
- Compile and deliver monthly marketing reports for each assigned client.
- Include a summary of completed projects in each quarterly report.
- Ensure monthly and quarterly reports are delivered to clients by the 15th of each month.
- Maintain accurate records of client conversations, project progress, meeting notes, deadlines, and completed work.
- Help ensure client spreadsheets and internal project-management systems remain current and accurate.
- Coordinate and schedule video shoots according to each client’s contract and marketing plan.
- Schedule and attend video shoot planning meetings to establish the strategy, messaging, interview topics, and intended deliverables.
- Prepare and send clients a clear shoot plan, including interview questions and preparation instructions.
- Attend post-shoot debrief meetings to determine which deliverables will be created from the captured footage.
- Add video projects to the project-management system and assign the appropriate team members and due dates.
- Ensure completed video assets are distributed, published, and incorporated into the client’s broader marketing strategy.
- Complete ongoing training to stay current on digital marketing platforms, project-management tools, artificial intelligence tools, marketing trends, and industry best practices.
- Continuously look for ways to improve internal processes, client communication, and marketing execution.
Success in this role will be measured by the Marketing Manager’s ability to:
- Schedule and complete internal and client strategy meetings every quarter.
- Keep client performance calculations and account health indicators in good standing.
- Ensure project deadlines align with client proposals and 90-day marketing plans.
- Help fulfillment departments remain within their allocated time budgets.
- Deliver monthly and quarterly client reports by the 15th of each month.
- Keep client projects, meeting notes, documents, and action items organized and up to date.
- Maintain strong client satisfaction and retention.
- Proactively identify needs, remove roadblocks, and keep marketing initiatives moving forward.
- Has experience in marketing account management, project management, client services, or a similar role.
- Understands the fundamentals of digital marketing, including content, social media, website development, video, paid advertising, and search engine optimization.
- Communicates clearly and professionally with both clients and internal team members.
- Is highly organized and comfortable managing multiple clients, projects, meetings, and deadlines at the same time.
- Takes ownership of responsibilities and follows through without requiring frequent reminders.
- Can translate broad marketing strategies into clear project instructions and actionable next steps.
- Is proactive, resourceful, detail-oriented, and comfortable solving problems.
- Can confidently lead client meetings and manage difficult or time-sensitive conversations.
- Works well in a collaborative agency environment where priorities may shift quickly.
- Is comfortable using Google Workspace, project-management platforms, reporting tools, and AI-assisted documentation tools.
