Job Description
The Marketing & Digital Media Manager position for the Nashville Sports Council, Inc. (“NSC”) and the Liberty Mutual Music City Bowl (“MCB”) will be a salaried, non-exempt position that is supervised by, and reports to the Director of Marketing & Partnerships.
Job Responsibilities And Duties
This position operates primarily in an office environment, as well as outdoors and in stadium facilities. Local travel to events and meetings will be required. This position typically works 40 hours per week.

Job Responsibilities And Duties
- Manage day-to-day social media operations for NSC and MCB, including content planning, scheduling, publishing, and community engagement.
- Responsible for all digital content including social media graphics, photography, short-form video, digital advertisements, and promotional materials for all departments, often with short turnaround time.
- Monitor and report on social media, website, and email analytics, providing insights and recommendations to improve performance.
- Assist with sponsor fulfillment through digital activations, in-game activations, website acknowledgements, and social media content.
- Assist with creation and production of NSC and MCB marketing publications and external communications (Routine Basic Website Maintenance, Weekly Email Newsletters, Annual Report, Program and Media Guide, etc.)
- Responsible for all event photos, editing, and photography; videography needs at events a plus.
- Directly responsible for management of department’s intern each semester. This position must educate and engage intern for the benefit of intern’s professional development.
- Expectation is that employee will stay current on best practices and trends as it relates to the changing digital platforms such as responsive web design, social media, email communication, and consumer behaviors.
- Assist event operations team as needed in the execution of all events for the NSC and MCB.
- Recruit and manage a team of content creators at major events.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the Director of Marketing & Strategy as well as the CFO and ultimately the President and CEO.
- Passion for digital marketing, social media and storytelling
- Undergraduate degree in digital marketing, social media management, content creation, or a related field
- 1-2 years experience in digital marketing, social media management, content creation, or a related field
- Experience managing social media accounts, creating engaging content, and utilizing analytics to drive audience growth and engagement strategies
- Experience with paid social media advertising and email marketing platforms
- Proficient in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat; Premiere Pro and After Effects experience are a plus.
- Experience with photography, short-form video creation, and content capture.
- Experience editing websites using Strikingly.
- Experience with live event production, run-of-show development, and script writing to support sponsor activations, promotional elements, and fulfillment of partnership obligations.
- Must have a valid US driver’s license
- Must be able to work Labor Day weekend and December 26-31 every year.
- Planning and Organization: ability to create multiple overlapping project schedules and timelines and set and meet deadlines.

- Communication: the ability to clearly and professionally communicate with various stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Initiative: “no job too small” attitude; proactive and eager to contribute; at times, work independently with minimal supervision.
This position operates primarily in an office environment, as well as outdoors and in stadium facilities. Local travel to events and meetings will be required. This position typically works 40 hours per week.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
- Must be able to remain sitting for up to 8 hours at a desk and computer.
- Must be able to remain standing/walking for up to 8 hours.
- Must be able to climb stairs.
- Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors including adverse weather conditions, such as rain, wind, high and low temperatures.
- Must be able to work in non-traditional settings and non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
