This role is crucial for ensuring that the organization continues to fulfill its charitable objectives by building a team of dedicated and skilled professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive talent acquisition strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Lead and manage the recruitment team, providing guidance and support to ensure effective and efficient hiring processes.
- Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and develop job descriptions that accurately reflect the requirements and expectations of each role.
- Utilize various recruitment channels, including social media, job boards, and networking events, to source and attract qualified candidates.
- Oversee the interview and selection process, ensuring a fair and unbiased approach to candidate evaluation.
- Maintain and analyze recruitment metrics to assess the effectiveness of talent acquisition strategies and make data-driven improvements.
- Foster relationships with external recruitment agencies and educational institutions to expand the organization's talent pool.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations throughout the recruitment process.
- Promote the organization's culture and values to potential candidates, enhancing the employer brand and attracting individuals who are passionate about the organization's mission.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance the talent acquisition processes to improve efficiency and candidate experience.
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, preferably within the not-for-profit sector.
- Proven track record of successfully managing full-cycle recruitment processes.
- Experience in developing and implementing talent acquisition strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining relationships with hiring managers and external partners.
- Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations relevant to the not-for-profit sector.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficient in using applicant tracking systems and other recruitment software.
- Ability to analyze recruitment metrics and provide insights to improve processes.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of recruitment professionals.
- High level of professionalism and integrity in handling sensitive and confidential information.
