Logistics Manager (LOGMGT2)

Expected Pay Range: $60,000 - $65,000/Year
The Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring equipment readiness, maintenance efficiency, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards. This role involves managing maintenance programs, optimizing workflow, and leading facility projects, including upgrades and vendor coordination. The manager develops and enforces policies, monitors staff performance, and drives continuous improvement initiatives. Additionally, they oversee budget tracking, procurement, and financial reporting while fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and operational excellence.
Essential Functions
- Manage and support staff, providing coaching, performance feedback, task assignments, and professional development to align with production goals.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring equipment readiness, maintenance, production efficiency, and safety compliance.
- Manage maintenance programs, including preventive maintenance, repairs, replacements, and infrastructure upkeep to minimize downtime and extend asset life.
- Lead facility projects and upgrades, coordinating construction, vendor negotiations, service contracts, and cost-effective execution.
- Develop and enforce facility standards, policies, and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and operational consistency.
- Optimize facility performance, identifying improvements in efficiency, space utilization, workflow, and cost reduction opportunities.
- Plan and prioritize operations, scheduling maintenance and production tasks to meet short- and long-term objectives with adequate staffing.
- Monitor and troubleshoot operations, supporting staff in resolving equipment issues and ensuring productivity and quality standards are met.
- Communicate with stakeholders, aligning on expectations, timelines, and project progress while gathering feedback for continuous improvement.
- Track budgets and performance, estimate project costs, manage procurement, and prepare financial and operational reports for leadership.
- Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement across all teams.
- Monitor DRAT for updates and ensure data accuracy alongside team members.
- Identify discrepancies in inventory and work on solutions with the logistics team.
- Coordinate with field teams to validate and reconcile real-time asset information in DRAT.
- Generate regular reports summarizing asset changes and system updates.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience
Preferred- 8 year(s): Facility maintenance, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, welding, carpentry, or similar experience
