Knitting Production Mechanic

Ensures Knitting machines are repaired as needed by changing needles, repairing cut outs, or fixing other mechanical issues that may arise. Complete monthly PMs on assigned machines, Trouble shoot machines issues to minimize downtime, Aid Knitters in changing Spandex when possible.

Simple forms, basic mathematics, computer skills, mechanical & basic electrical understanding, Problem solving skills

Physical Demand:

Good manual dexterity, grasp hand tools, frequent bending, standing, stretching, stooping, reaching. Standing throughout workday. Frequently moving around machines through narrow aisles.

Mental/Visual/Auditory Demand:

Continuous mental, visual, and auditory attention is necessary to verify quality, Normal or corrected vision. Normal or corrected hearing.

Responsibility for the safety of others:

The probability of causing injury to others is remote because they work mostly alone.
