Junior AutoCAD Designer

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated Junior AutoCAD Designer to join our team in Phoenix, AZ, with strong AutoCAD skills who enjoys working in a collaborative engineering environment. The Designer will support the creation, revision, and maintenance of technical drawings and documentation while partnering closely with engineers, designers, and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Create, revise, and maintain technical drawings using AutoCAD.
• Update existing drawings based on engineering markups, redlines, and project requirements.
• Ensure drawings comply with company standards and drafting best practices.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project stakeholders to support ongoing projects.
• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Organize and maintain drawing files and related documentation.
• Assist with design and drafting activities as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical school certification in AutoCAD, Drafting, CAD Technology, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• AutoCAD Associate User Certification (AUD).
• Internship, co-op, academic project, or professional experience using AutoCAD.
• Experience supporting engineering, manufacturing, or technical design projects.
