We are currently seeking a highly organised and personable Front Office Coordinator to join our team at our Houston, Texas, United States location. This is a full-time position, and the successful candidate will be the first point of contact for our company, playing a crucial role in shaping the visitor experience and ensuring the smooth operation of our office. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a professional attitude, and a proactive approach to administrative tasks. This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $32 - $35 USD.

Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact for the company, greeting clients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner.
Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls while providing basic information when needed.
Manage all incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, letters, and packages.
Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for staff.
Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk.
Order front office supplies and keep an accurate inventory of stock.
Provide general administrative and clerical support to various departments as required.
Ensure the reception area and conference rooms are tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and materials.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Front Office Coordinator, Receptionist, or in a similar administrative role.
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Exceptional organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A professional demeanour and a customer-service-oriented approach.
Ability to be resourceful and proactive when dealing with issues that may arise.
A high school diploma is required; an associate's or bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
Previous experience within the technology or manufacturing industry is advantageous but not essential.
