The Sanctuary, one of Sacramento’s premier Dispensaries for Adult Use and Medical cannabis, is growing once again. We are looking for superstars to join our diverse, fun-loving team. Founded in January 2020, The Sanctuary specializes in cannabis retail sales both in store and delivery. The Sanctuary believes customer service, creative and educational collaborations and community support make a difference!

The Sanctuary governs a healthy environment for customers and staff members alike. We are a company that prides itself on diversity, inclusion and the professional development of all our associates. Everyone who visits our establishment is welcomed by friendly staff members who are driven to provide optimal customer service. Even through our high volume hours, our staff is patient and always meets the needs of those who seek our assistance. The Sanctuary is team, detail, and goal oriented. All team members work together by utilizing staff and customer feedback to create a satisfactory cannabis buying experience. The Sanctuary seeks to provide a new cannabis buying experience that creates convenience to our customers, and we are now looking to add an additional Front Desk team member.


Position Summary


Front Desk team member serves as the first point of contact for customers and visitors. Front Desk team member must maintain a level of high energy, enthusiasm and have excellent communication skills. The Front Desk team member is responsible for creating a welcoming and professional first impression as they are the beginning point of contact for the Sanctuary’s Customer Experience.


Position Responsibilities


  • Greeting customers and visitors with friendly and professional demeanor upon entry and departure
  • Ensure all customers feel welcomed and attended to promptly
  • Ensure the lobby is clean, organized, and visually appealing
  • Vendor check in
  • Customer check in
  • Customer profile compliance
  • Customer Experience
  • Ensure a pleasant and well organized guest experience by communicating with Sales Floor Host to control floor flow
  • Open Availability
  • Scheduling Flexibility
  • Additional tasks and duties as assigned
