What to Expect in the Role:
- Prepare soil and growth medium.
- Fill tanks with water and handle irrigation equipment.
- Plant crops
- Harvest and package crop
- Load and unload trucks.
- Operate farm equipment and other motor equipment when necessary.
- When work is not available, workers may be offered other general agricultural duties, including building and equipment maintenance, repairing fences, and similar tasks.
- Other duties as assigned.
- The ability to understand and carry out oral instructions.
- The ability to learn to use and/or operate light motor equipment.
