Family Medicine

The Permanente Medical Group, Inc. is seeking physicians who are board certified or board eligible by an American Medical Specialty Board.

Our North Bay locations in Sonoma County offer practice settings that are conveniently located near excellent schools, and offer affordable housing, diverse communities, and an abundance of recreational activities. Just 55 miles north of San Francisco and the fifth-largest city in the Bay Area, Santa Rosa (Sonoma County) boasts some of the most diverse and stunning scenery in the region. From towering redwoods and raging river rapids to winding grape vines and rolling hills, our surroundings offer something for everyone. Our warm, dry summers are complemented by cool wet winters, and our central location offers ample opportunity to explore beyond our borders to reach lakes, oceans, mountains, and more.

Santa Rosa/Sonoma County Offers

• An opportunity to live and work in the same community - most of our physicians live in Sonoma County.
• Ample opportunities to pursue your own health and wellness while working hard to encourage your patients to do the same.
• Something for everyone: from the trails at Howarth Park and in Sebastopol to wide-open spaces to kayaking in Spring Lake or on the Russian River to a vibrant arts scene.
• Farm to Table: summer nights at Coppola Winery with a live Salsa band to the first signs of Spring in Windsor to Hale’s Apple Farm in Sebastopol and jogging through the Fall colors in Healdsburg.
• A taste of the Good Life and everything in between – redwood groves, coastal views, whale watching, and rolling farmland.
