We're seeking an experienced Executive Director to provide strategic leadership across multiple early childhood Primrose Schools in Oklahoma. This role is more than overseeing operations—it's about inspiring leaders, building thriving school cultures, driving organizational excellence, and helping shape the future of early education.
The ideal candidate is an experienced, servant-hearted leader who is passionate about developing people, solving complex challenges, and creating environments where children, families, and educators flourish.

Responsibilities include:
- Lead, coach, and develop school Directors and school leadership teams.
- Foster positive, high-performing cultures centered on accountability, collaboration, and excellence.
- Drive enrollment growth, retention, and outstanding family experiences.
- Oversee financial performance, labor management, and operational effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing requirements, company policies, and quality standards.
- Analyze key performance indicators and create action plans that drive measurable results.
- Recruit, mentor, and retain exceptional leaders and educators.
- Conduct regular school visits, leadership coaching sessions, and operational reviews.
- Partner with school leaders to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Support future school acquisitions, openings, and organizational growth initiatives.
- Serve as a visible, approachable leader who models Primrose Schools and Pathlight Learning's values every day.
- Proven experience leading multiple locations or overseeing district, regional, or multi-site operations.
- A passion for developing leaders and helping others reach their potential.
- Strong operational and financial acumen with the ability to interpret business metrics and make strategic decisions.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and coaching skills.
- Confidence making difficult decisions while leading with empathy and integrity.
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- The flexibility to travel regularly between schools throughout Oklahoma.
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Organizational Leadership, or a related field.
- Five or more years of leadership experience in early childhood education, education, hospitality, or another multi-site service organization.
- Experience leading through growth, organizational change, or acquisitions is a plus.
