Job Description
Hunt Construction is seeking a Construction Project Manager/Design for a large, complex, Design Build commercial construction airport project. Hunt is the Design Build team responsible for managing the design and construction. This role is managing design and design teams who are contracted to Hunt for completion of design of an airport project as construction continues.
Job duties:
The Project Manager/Design will work closely with day to day with design teams: Owner Team, Client Team, Hunt project management/construction operations team, and Hunt commercial team.
- Understand and comprehending design documents.
- Review and interpret commercial/contractual arrangements.
- Align with the construction team to monitor and evaluate milestones, report to the executive management team.
- Reviews design progression, responds to design comments, compares design requests/directives to project requirements, prepares reports.
- Researches and drives resolution to design related issues.
- Responds to design comments, compares design requests/directives to project requirements, prepares reports to present to executive leadership.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- BS Engineering, Architecture or similar curriculum and 8 years of construction related design experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- 8 years of experience in construction project management.
- Strong experience in design progression.
- Experience managing direct reports and design contractors/teams.
- Ability to work with multiple teams to meet deadlines.
- Experience with complex contracts, contract design requirements and construction scheduling.
- Experience with various construction management software such as CMIC, E-Builder, Procore, etc.
- Experience in Document Control.
- PANYNJ experience strongly preferred.
- This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization now or in the future.

- This position may include relocation.
- In order to receive a security badge at the client worksite for which you are being hired to perform services, you will be required to pass the client's security screening process to include SWAC (Secure Worker Access Consortium) and/or SIDA (Identification Display Area) and fingerprinting, which will be done after you have commenced employment and is a condition of your continued employment.
Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $141630.61 to $262016.62.
