Job Description:
Overview:
The Construction Manager position is responsible for overseeing infrastructure construction projects from pre-construction through closeout, managing schedule, budget, quality, and safety while coordinating with contractors, clients, and internal teams to deliver successful outcomes.
Responsibilities:

Oversee project scope, schedule, budget, safety, and quality to support on-time and on-budget delivery.

Lead project administration activities such as RFIs, submittals, change management, pay applications, and closeout documentation as applicable.

Coordinate with contractors, clients, agencies, and internal disciplines to resolve issues and maintain project progress.

Maintain and review project documentation and reporting to track progress, compliance, and risks.

Promote job site safety and oversee applicable environmental compliance requirements.

Lead and mentor project staff, supporting team development and effective workload coordination.

Facilitate startup/commissioning activities, punch lists, and coordination with supporting teams (e.g., document control, survey, environmental, land acquisition) as applicable.

Support constructability reviews and value engineering efforts to improve delivery efficiency.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

6 years of progressive construction management experience.

Certified Construction Manager (CCM) strongly preferred

Demonstrated capability leading project teams and coordinating with contractors and stakeholders.

Working knowledge of project controls, documentation, and construction administration processes.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.

Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

Reliability and dependability.

Ability to work Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm with overtime as needed.
