As a Construction General Helper at Daly Seven, you will maintain a safe, clean, and professional environment across our active job sites. This position is the backbone of our site operations, ensuring that the workspace remains free of debris and that critical installations are protected and prepared for the next phase of construction.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct daily sweeps of job site to collect and dispose of trash.
- Ensure waste is placed in designated bins to maintain clear walkways and fire exits.
- Assist in moving or stacking materials to keep work areas organized.
- Regularly check tub and shower pans for debris, damage, or standing water.
- Thoroughly clean shower pans and drainage areas.
- Monitor the site for potential safety hazards and address them immediately.
- Assist supervisors with cleaning tasks.
- Previous experience cleaning an active job site is preferred.
- Attention to detail.
- Stand, lift, bend, and walk for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
