Senior Commercial Loan Underwriter is responsible for leading the analysis and underwriting of complex commercial credit requests, including CRE, C&I, leveraged finance, and asset-based lending.

- Assess cash flow, collateral, and borrowing bases to support sound lending decisions.
- Recommend appropriate loan structures and terms based on risk analysis.
- Partner with relationship managers to support client proposals and documentation.
- Monitor ongoing credit quality by reviewing financial performance and credit trends.
- Review financial statements and evaluate covenant compliance.
- Contribute underwriting insights in credit committee discussions.
- Mentor and guide junior analysts, strengthening team underwriting capabilities.
- Strong expertise in commercial lending underwriting and credit risk evaluation.
- Proficiency in collateral, borrowing base, and cash flow analysis.
- Ability to evaluate complex financials and covenant structures.
- Excellent judgment, analytical skills, and communication for committee and client support.
- Leadership skills with experience mentoring others.
