Clinical Research Regulatory Assistant

Del Sol Research is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Clinical Research Regulatory Assistant to join our research team. This is an entry-level position that provides an excellent opportunity to begin a career in clinical research and regulatory affairs. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working within established processes and procedures. This position works under the direct supervision of the Regulatory Manager and is responsible for supporting regulatory activities as assigned while maintaining accuracy, consistency, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit regulatory documents for clinical studies
• Maintain accurate and organized regulatory files
• Track IRB submissions, approvals, renewals, and study documentation
• Collaborate with research staff to ensure protocol and regulatory compliance
• Support audits, monitoring visits, and regulatory inspections
• Assist with regulatory correspondence and document management
• Complete regulatory tasks and projects as assigned by the Regulatory Manager

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Degree in English, Communications, Healthcare, or related field preferred
• Strong personality with the confidence to communicate professionally and follow through on assignments
• Excellent technical writing and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational abilities
• Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and document management systems
• Comfortable spending extended periods working at a computer
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to follow direction, prioritize assigned tasks, and work under the direct supervision of the Regulatory Manager
• Comfortable working within established processes, procedures, and timelines
• Able to receive feedback, implement revisions, and adapt to changing priorities
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
• Clinical research or regulatory experience is a plus but not required

This position works under the direct supervision of the Regulatory Manager and supports regulatory activities as assigned. The successful candidate must be comfortable following established processes, receiving feedback, and executing tasks according to departmental priorities.
