Chief Operating Officer

Position located at The Woodland, TX – Open to relocation


Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Chief Operating Officer (COO) to optimize and elevate the organization’s operational performance. This pivotal leader will design and execute strategies that ensure scalability, sustainability, and efficiency across all business functions. Working closely with the executive team, the COO will refine operations, drive continuous improvement, and position the company for long-term growth and success in a rapidly evolving marketplace.

To be successful, you should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • 10+ years of executive-level operations leadership experience within an insurance carrier, MGA, or large retail organization.
  • Proven success in scaling operations, enhancing customer experience, and driving digital transformation initiatives.
  • Solid operating experience in a high-growth, multi-entity, rapidly evolving business environment.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment; limited travel may be required.


Your responsibilities as Chief Operating Officer will include:

  • Drive Operational Excellence: Lead the design and execution of initiatives that enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness across all business operations.
  • Strategic Planning & Execution: Collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement business plans that align with the company’s long-term strategic goals.
  • Performance & Process Improvement: Establish operational metrics, champion continuous improvement, and optimize workflows, technology, and service delivery.
  • Financial & Resource Management: Oversee operational budgeting, staffing, and resource allocation to ensure alignment with business objectives and fiscal discipline.
  • Leadership & Team Development: Cultivate a high-performing, collaborative culture through effective leadership, coaching, and talent development initiatives.
