detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced higher

education environment and is passionate about providing exceptional

service.

**Compensation: \$23.01/hr**

**Location: NCAT**

### Position Overview

The Assistant Registrar supports the Registrar in maintaining accurate

student academic records and ensuring the fair and knowledgeable

application of academic policies and procedures. This role plays a key

part in supporting scheduling, transfer evaluations, graduation

processing, and academic systems management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and process transfer credits in accordance with

institutional guidelines

  • Maintain accuracy and integrity of student academic records
  • Coordinate course scheduling, classroom assignments, and schedule

updates

  • Monitor grade submission and attendance reporting for accuracy and

timeliness

  • Assist with DegreeWorks maintenance, student exceptions, and

graduation certification

  • Support commencement planning and coordination
  • Provide guidance to faculty and staff regarding records procedures

and compliance

  • Maintain and troubleshoot academic systems including Banner
  • Resolve record discrepancies, duplicate IDs, and historical data

corrections

  • Ensure compliance with FERPA, institutional policies, and applicable

regulations

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to students, faculty, and staff

### Required

  • Associates degree
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • High attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact

effectively with students and staff
