AIR's Fleet Aviation Sourcing & Technical (FAST) team is hiring a Supply Chain Manager, Consumables. As a Supply Chain Manager, you will establish strong relationships with our suppliers and internal customers (Operations), lead strategic procurement initiatives (Single sourcing vs diversification strategy, supply chain optimization), and refine the forecast model to optimize our aviation operations. This role requires someone who can think strategically and execute tactically with strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities. Strong stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, and a data-driven decision-making approach are a must. The team needs a Supply Chain Manager with a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
The position will be based in Bellevue, WA, with Nashville, TN as a potential option.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $77,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $141,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Key job responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end procurement processes for consumables meeting Amazon Air's operational requirements
- Develop and execute long-term sourcing strategies that align with network growth, operational efficiency, and cost optimization goals
- Partner with internal teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective sourcing solutions
- Drive continuous improvement of our consumables portfolio, considering factors such as safety, ergonomic, tracking
- Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with Amazon's standards
- Create and maintain performance metrics to track supplier performance, consumables utilization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Finance, and Engineering to develop comprehensive equipment strategies
- Build finance and operational plan (one to three year term)
- Travel up to 30% of the time
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- 2+ years of supply chain experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Master's degree
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
- Experience in the aviation industry
