Operations Coordinator
Key Role:
Research and synthesize complex information to prepare briefings, staff material, read-a-heads, presentations, and other material, as required, in support of meetings, visits, conferences, and other high-level engagements. Assist with tactical planning using resources such as MS Office suite, regular interactions with government leadership, team members, and administrative support staff to track and schedule short-term and long-term meetings and engagements. Assist with management of daily activities, specific meetings, and long-range tasks and plans. Develop written correspondence including internal and external communication products and taskers. Synchronize organizational team and elements to organizational vision, goals, objectives, and battle rhythm. Coordinate events to maximize organizational effectiveness by supporting administrative activities, scheduling for events and managing calendars, and updating and coordinating information repositories on relevant government systems and platforms. Coordinate event budget planning and expenditure tracking and reporting activities as required. Utilize MS Project to coordinate, summarize, analyze, and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for their task, and coordinate with the Master Scheduler for program schedule.
Basic Qualifications:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $112,800.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. Basic Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in a DoD environment, ideally within a Combatant Command
- 8+ years of experience as a staff officer
- 5+ years of experience in managing schedules and in project or program management
- Experience conducting needs analysis, and designing, implementing, coordinating, assessing, and improving IT and cybersecurity business processes and procedures
- Experience evaluating the effectiveness of IT business processes, address workflows, and information security requirements, and recommending improvements
- Experience reviewing or conducting audits of IT programs and projects
- Ability to communicate and document complex processes and present information to senior management and clients in written and verbal forms
- Ability to evaluate and provide input to implementation plans and standard operating procedures
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree
- Knowledge of technical risk management processes
- Ability to provide ongoing optimization and problem-solving support
- PMP
